Fixed Price Contracts
We firmly believe that to provide our clients with absolute peace of mind, a contract should only be entered into once ALL approvals and engineering is in place. In doing so, our clients are assured there are no hidden surprises or nasty variations for items such as footing variations. Most other builders would allow their standard allowance for these items and present a variation once construction has already started, to us this process doesn’t seem fair and reasonable.
Prime Building Company promotes relationships with our client’s that allows them to play a major role within the construction of their building project whether it be a New Home, Renovation and Addition or Development Project. In the past our many satisfied clients have preferred a staged process that involves regular updates and pricing checkpoints to ensure all details are in keeping with their predetermined construction budgets and forecasts. A Preliminary Service Agreement is utilised for this process and is a two part procedure as detailed:
Concept Design Agreement
Prime Building Company will proudly bring together a professional team of highly skilled people to translate your vision into an inspiring yet practical building design that conforms with all Local Government policies and Regulations, Building Codes and the various Australian Standards applicable to residential buildings. Once designs are finalised, our quantifier will carry out a take off on the project to determine an accurate building estimate for the projects construction. By utilizing our in-house design service we are able to design your home with your budget in mind, what ever it may be.
Preliminary Services agreement
Once you are satisfied with your concept plans and construction estimate, a Preliminary Services Agreement adopted for the purpose of carrying out all remaining preliminary works (as detailed in your construction estimate). These items include all Engineering, Council and Building Approvals, Development Approval, Working Drawings and Surveying. Once all preliminaries have been confirmed and approvals are in place, Prime Building Company will present a FINAL and FIXED PRICE CONTRACT to build on your behalf.
